Create a clean background for coral photography

Photographing coral frags inside a busy aquarium can be challenging. Fish, rockwork and equipment in the background can distract from the coral you want to capture. The FragFrame creates a dedicated photography area with a matte black background, helping your coral stand out more clearly in photos and videos.

Place a coral frag on the platform and photograph it through the aquarium glass with your smartphone or camera. The dark background improves visual contrast and helps fluorescent colours stand out under your existing aquarium lighting.

Using the FragFrame

Select the hook that best matches the thickness of your aquarium glass and place the FragFrame in a suitable position.

Place the coral frag on the photography platform and allow the water to settle before taking the photo. For the most consistent results, clean the aquarium glass and switch off nearby room lighting to reduce reflections.

Compatibility

The FragFrame is supplied with three interchangeable hooks for aquarium glass thicknesses up to 20 mm. Check the thickness of your aquarium glass before use.

No smartphone or camera mount is required; photographs are taken through the aquarium glass using your own device.
