Add up to 30 mm to your protein skimmer stand

Does your protein skimmer still sit too deep after adjusting the stand to its standard maximum height? This expansion set adds another 15 or 30 mm to a compatible 3DReefing-Solutions protein skimmer stand, increasing its maximum height from 90 to 120 mm.

The set contains eight 15 mm extension segments: one additional segment per leg raises the stand by 15 mm, while two segments per leg add the full 30 mm. The existing bayonet connections make it possible to extend the stand without tools or permanent modifications.

Compatibility

This expansion set is designed specifically for the adjustable square and rectangular protein skimmer stands sold by 3DReefing-Solutions. It is not a universal extension system for stands from other manufacturers.

The stand itself must be purchased separately.

Installation

To add 15 mm, install one extension segment on each of the four legs.

To add 30 mm, install two extension segments on each leg.

Always use the same number of segments on every leg. Check that each bayonet connection is fully secured and that the stand is level and stable before placing the protein skimmer on top.
